Different from the Boutique Milano model which is housed in red gold case, the Paris and Munich models are encased in stainless steel cases. The Edition „Boutique Rue de la Paix“ comes with a gray-colored dial with black sub-dials, paired with silver-colored numerals and indexes, while the Munich edition boasts a midnight blue dial and tone-on-tone sub-counters, contrasted with silver-colored hands and numerals. On the Munich model, the hands for the rattrapante and 30-minute functions are colored in the attractive and amazing red tone.
The case backs on all three models feature dedicated engravings. However, for the Milan’s version, the case back reveals a special engraving of the „Biscione“, the grass snake, of the Milanese Visconti family, the symbol and emblem of the city. It has become a very successful model which has won a huge popularity when the fake IWC Portugieser Rattrapante Watch was introduced for the first time. The Schaffhausen-based manufacturer announced a special edition model of the Portugieser Rattrapante Earlier this year, which dedicated to the city of Milan and its flagship boutique in the Italian fashion capital, and now presents two more limited editions to honor two other IWC’s European flagships which are located in Paris and Munich.
Just like the real model, these three newcomers feature a rare split-second chronograph function. Each item is manufactured with a third push-piece which triggers and stops the split-seconds hand. This pusher is placed at the 10 o’clock position. A rattrapante in the name of the replica watch is the French word for a split-seconds hand. As you can see on these images, the Portugieser Rattrapante model feature two chronograph hands, one superimposed over the other one. Whilst one of the hands moves continuously, registering the time, the other one can be stopped, started or reset to zero.
This fake IWC Portugieser Double Chronograph Edition „Milano“ is made in the limited series of 100 specimens. They are already available at the new Swiss company’s boutique located in Milan’s most fashionable shopping street togoleseembassy, while the Portugieser Chronograph Rattrapante Edition „Boutique Rue de la Paix“ and Edition „Boutique Munich“ are issued as limited editions of 250 pieces each. The first one will come later this month in the IWC boutique Rue de la Paix in Paris, while the later will be available from Spring 2017 in the Swiss brand’s boutique in Munich.
